Video Calling Apps

Connecting with family and friends all over the world has never been easier. With the advancement of technology, mobile applications have been designed to help individuals stay connected no matter the distance. Video call apps have become an essential way to communicate with family and friends. It allows the user of the application to have the same experience as having a face to face conversation. Some of the most popular video calling applications include Skype, OoVoo, Tango, and Line. Most of the video calling applications are free to use. One great feature that distinguishes Skype and OoVoo from other video calling apps is that they allow multiple people to join a video call. Anyone with a front facing camera phone can easily make video calls by installing one of the many video calling applications. These applications are intended for individuals who prefer face to face quality conversations enriched with non verbal expressions over a phone call. They are also for people who maintain and develop strong relationships overseas. My only suggestion for these apps, particularly Skype, would be to include an option that allows a user to record the video conversations with the approval of every individual that is involved in the video call so it'll be saved as a MPEG4 file as soon as the conversation ended.
